PERSIAN FILM FESTIVAL PRESENTS
A HERO BY ASGHAR FARHADI From award-winning Iranian director Asghar Farhadi (A Separation and The Salesman, Best Foreign Language Film Oscar Winners 2012 and 2017) comes A Hero, screening for a limited time at the Persian Film Festival.

A Hero is a fraught drama that reflects on the morality of crime and the weight of a good deed, blurring the line between innocence and guilt.

The film has received widespread critical acclaim, having been awarded both the Grand Prix & François Chalais Prize at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival, as well as the Asia Pacific Screen Awards for Best Direction. It's also been selected as Iran's official submission for the 94th Academy Awards Best International Feature film category, and boasts a remarkable 100% approval aggregate on Rotten Tomatoes.

The film will screen at Palace Cinemas in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra from 3 to 12 December 2021.
