The third day of the 12th FIG Acrobatic Gymnastics World Age
Group Competitions kicked off at the National Gymnastics Arena in
Baku on March 5, Trend reports.

The qualification round is being held for athletes in the 13-19
age categories on the morning. Women's and mixed pairs are
demonstrating the balance exercises while men's pairs, women's and
men's groups – the tempo exercises.

The women's group comprised of Leyla Bashirova, Nazrin Farmanova
and Mansuma Mammadzade will represent Azerbaijan in the
qualification phase.

The finalists among men's groups, men's and mixed pairs in the
13-19 age categories will be determined based on the results of the
qualifications.

Furthermore, the final competitions among athletes of the 12-18
age categories will start at 16:00 (GMT+4). Following the final
results, the winners and prize-winners among women's, mixed and
men's pairs, as well as men's and women's groups will be announced.
In the final, our country will be represented by a mixed pair of
Milana Aliyeva and Nizam Khamidulin.

The 12th FIG Acrobatic Gymnastics World Age Group Competitions
is being held in the capital of Azerbaijan on March 3-6. Some 438
gymnasts from 24 countries are taking part in the competitions,
which have been organized by the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation
for the first time.
