Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel clearly stated that, As a result of the success of the Vibrant Summit being held in Gujarat accompanied by the inspiration and guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the encouraging policies of the state government for startups, innovations, MSMEs, industrialists and capital investors from across the country and the world are eager to come to Gujarat.
In this regard, he said that for the last three years, Gujarat has been at the top in achieving the highest foreign direct investment in the country. CM was addressing young entrepreneurs in a program organized by Business Network International in Ahmedabad. He further said that, apart from the policies of the state government, the strong and integrated environment in the field of education, health and security has resulted in people making India, especially Gujarat, the first choice for trade, industry and business. CM also said that, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has inspired India to take the lead in the world by providing the necessary infrastructure to the country's youth talent and has taken up initiatives like Startup India, Standup India.
Shri Bhupendra Patel said that following the same footsteps of Gujarat, this government promotes more and more startups to make youth job creators. Since the implementation of Startup and Innovation Scheme in 2015, So far more than 300 start-ups have been provided assistance of Rs 51.83 crore. There are more than eight and a half thousand startups operating in Gujarat today and about 125 patents have been filed, he added. The Chief Minister said that today India is the third largest unicorn start-up in the world. The state government provides more than 10 lakhs seed funding to socially influential startups to promote entrepreneurship in the social sector as well.
Shri Bhupendra Patel expressed the view that the collaboration of organizations like BNI would be a catalyst as we are celebrating Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav with the expectation that it would be an era for youth startups in the field of job creation in Gujarat.
BNI Executive Director Shri Yash Vasant, Area Director Snehal Patel as well as leading and veteran actor Shri Kabir Bedi including young entrepreneurs were present.
