It's not often that you get to see three bands on the same night that can leave you wanting more from all of them. But then not every one has someone like Chris Abbott putting the bill together.
Anyway, follow the links to find out what you missed... psych/garage courtesy of Paul Groovy et al... rockabilly/punk and maybe a few Clash influences from Witchdoktors... ("that's Witchdoktors with a fuckin' K" as singer/guitarist Andy Last seems keen to remind us)... and 60's girl groups with a garage twist...
But hey...I do photographs that hopefully capture something of the evening... And as a bit of a conceit, I thought I'd present them in a way that might grace an imaginary album cover....(or at least on the inner sleeve.... )
You know the drill by now. Support live music, keep music venues like The Wedgewood Rooms alive by providing an audience for bands...buy CDs and vinyl from independent retailers or direct from the band...
