According to information provided to the Lok Sabha on Wednesday by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, these start-ups have so far generated a total of 7,67,754 jobs. Start-up The India Action Plan, on the other hand, includes 19 concrete recommendations in areas including facilitation and support, financial assistance and incentives, and collaboration and incubation between business and academia.
Funds worth Rs 945 crore have been sanctioned under the Start-up India Seed Fund Scheme (SISFS) for four years, beginning 2021-22. The government has undertaken 52 reforms since 2016 to enhance the ease of doing business, ease of raising capital, and reduce the compliance burden to encourage the start-up ecosystem, the Ministry highlighted.
