This new, larger tablet is expected to debut in the fourth quarter of 2023. Apple appears to be attempting to obfuscate the line between a tablet and a laptop with this model. About the Modified Version
There are rumors that Apple is creating a modified version of the macOS just for the upcoming iPad Pro devices. It is now being worked on as "Mendocino," and the release of macOS 14 is anticipated for next year.
Mark Gurman hinted that a dock for iPad Pro devices might also be on the horizon in his weekly Power On newsletter. Rumor has it that it is intended to function as a smart display when used with this device. Also, possibly included with this dock are speakers.
