New League Leaders In Lancashire FA Women's County Leagues

There was plenty of action in the Lancashire FA Women's County League.

Chipping Ladies went top after their 9-2 win over Sir Tom Finney but they are there on goal difference with Lancaster City, Whitehaven AFC and St Annes all on nine points as well.

While Cadley FC are three point behind that group after a 7-2 win against Blackpool Town.

On Sunday October 30 there is a Cumbrian derby as Kendal Town Women welcome west coast side Whitehaven AFC and a top of the table battle take place between St Annes and Chipping.

Both matches are a 2pm (14:00) kickoff on Sunday October 30.

Division 1 North/West Results

Chipping Ladies Sir 9-2 Tom Finney FC Development

Only the one game in Division One South/East as Penwortham Town lost 1-2 against Horwich as the win sends Horwich top of the table leaping Penwortham Town.

Four matches are set to take place with Astley Bridge hosting Euxton, Bury FC Foundation play Lostock St Gerards, Clitheroe Wolves face Penwortham Town and Horwich St Mary's welcome Darwen FC.

All four matches are a 2pm (14:00) kickoff on Sunday October 30.

The weather played havoc in the Premier Division with all three games postponed on Sunday October 23 with Bury FC Foundation Women Firsts host Clitheroe Wolves Wolves Ladies, Colne FC Ladies travel to Darwen FC Reserves as top versus bottom as league leaders Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies Reserves welcome Stanwix Junior Ladies.

A full round is planned for Sunday October 30 with Accrington Stanley hosting Burnley Belvedere, Bury FC Foundation play Fleetwood Town Wrens, Colne FC face Clitheroe Wolves and Stanwix welcome Darwen FC

In the Championship it was a full round of games Blackburn Community Sports Club Reserves lost 2-8 to Bolton Wanderers Girls FC Reserves while Euxton Girls Development went down 1-6 Blackpool FC Girls Development.

Table toppers GT7 Academy Ladies put 8 past Morecambe Ladies Development in an 8-0 win as Penrith AFC Ladies Development drew 4-4 with Fleetwood Town Wrens Ladies Development.

In a close game Preston North End Women FC Preston North were on the wrong side of a 2-3 score line against Bolton County Women.

Another full round is scheduled for October 30 with Blackpool hosting Fleetwood in the Lancashire derby, Bolton County host Ladybridge and Bolton Wanderers play Preston North End.

The two Cumbrian sides are at home as GT7 host Blackburn and Penrith AFC face Morecambe.

All matches are a 2pm (14:00) kickoff.
