The 43-year-old was on board a southbound L train when he got into an argument with another man near the Atlantic Avenue subway station around 8:50 p.m., the NYPD said. The other man pulled out a knife and stabbed Bailey in the neck and body, cops said. The assailant then ran off. Bailey was taken to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
