Porter Packaging & Think Packaging put their heads together to design the packaging for Earshots, a New Zealand-based sports headphones brand. The result is an environmentally conscious pack that utilizes both FSC-certified materials and plant-based inks. The packaging is simple, but the subtly witty details and strong type-driven design create a solution that comes across as ergonomic, assertive, and innovative.

New Zealand sports headphones innovators, Earshots, began with the goal of creating the world's best wireless headphones — unmatched in fit, comfort and sound quality. Collaborating with Think Packaging, Earshots sought to craft an equally exceptional packaging solution that is purpose-built, easily-assembled and environmentally conscious.

Employing FSC®-certified materials and plant-based inks, the Think-engineered and Porter-produced custom Earshots box boasts several key features: a self-locking outer shell, a specially engineered insert, a tear strip, and a kiss-cut hanger tab, all seamlessly integrated. Branding and product details were printed in PMS ink and finished with a sport varnish, ensuring clarity against the brown kraft base. The resulting package combines simplicity with meticulous attention to detail.
