Review: I actually liked the story about dealing with mental health issues, I'm sure a lot can relate to it in whatever career you are in. I wish they made Jeong Woo suffer mental health for a different reason. The dead friend's story was extra angst i didnt want. I would have preferred if they focused on how to heal from depression.
Despite the theme, watching this show was actually healing for me also. While I have better working conditions than the drama, I feel the pressure and the mental stress of working everyday - from dealing with my boss, to managing my young team, and trying not to take things too personal.
The backstory when they were young gave us a flavor of their past and current relationship (but it went on for too long). Seriously, the two leads look young enough that wearing high school uniform wasn't that awkward looking (PSH is already a mom!!). And I also love me some enemies to lover trope anytime. However, there was too much aegyo that got me cringing esp in the latter part of the drama. C'mon, professional doctors in their 30s do not act that way even if it's their first relationship. What I loved the most about their relationship is how supportive they were of each other. No judgments, they just comforted and listened, and cheered each other to do their best. But i think they got married too quickly, I'm not sure if they're already healed enough to enter into marriage.
I have to say that FL's mom is my fave character in this drama. She was fantastic mom that I hated seeing the younger brother being so lazy all throughout the show!!
