Nowadays, I have new habit, life's review I called it. Actually it is more like a comparison of my past and my current life so from here I know my growth. Yes, I am grown hahaha. My mind back to the past when I was a high school and I had holiday in Paiton, East Java, my aunty live there. I made a friend with Mbak Indri, Mbak is a call for a girl that older than me. Mbak Indri was in high school at that time and worked part time as a shop keeper. I knew her from my cousin. I remembered one funny thing that made me think okay I am really growing and learning.
It was evening, when Mbak Indri and I talked about the lyrics, we were confused actually. We tried to translate the lyrics. There was a sentence that made us felt like, why so challenging hahaha, "the day you went away" the sentence that made us super confused hahaha. We had no idea about the meaning of "went" since we just use dictionary to find the meaning hahaha. We didn't have smartphone at that time.
Then a man, a customer joined us to translete it haha. He told us that, "went" here a past tense of go. That man, I forgot the name but I still remembered he told us he has a girlfriend in Japan. He was a student actually in Japan. Oh, he taught us japanese vocabularies too. It was a funny memory that I remembered haha.
The next review, still about english. Well english isn't our mother tongue but we have this lesson since elementary school. Again, I have know idea about this verb, "went". When I was home, it was Ramadhan month actually so I went to the mosque for Taraweh praying. I remembered there are two girls who debated about the meaning of "went" haha really this is remaind me of Mbak Indri and me. I thought the girls in elementary school last grade or junior high school.
I did nothing while waiting the taraweh started. I rarely home, that's why I felt happy to see many girls in the mosque, they remained me of my childhood. Those two girls, still talking about the meaning of went. The one didn't agree about the meaning and the other had no idea. I eavesdropped on their conversation haha just wanna know how they will solve it. Well, before they fought to each other, I Joined the conversation and explained to them about that verb. They were laughing after knowing the meaning, so did I haha. And the end of conversation they asked me if I am a teacher or not.
Hahaha, I am not teachers, we just had same experience hahaha.
