Thornton Cleveleys are off the mark in the North West Counties First Division North after racking up the goals in the second half in a 4-1 win over Route One Rovers.
Terry Green's side - in their first ever season at Step 6 - came out on top in a game between two sides who had lost both their matches so far, although they had to come from behind after Umar Ali Zahoor's 35th minute opener - Rovers' first goal of the season.
Sebastian Graves equalised with 20 minutes to go, and rounded out the scoring in the final minute. Jordan Beevers and Robbie Hulme were also on target in quick succession following the equaliser.
At the top, Bacup Borough maintained their 100% record with a 2-0 home win over Daisy Hill. Alex Mellor broke the deadlock after just three minutes, and Toby Wright wrapped up another win shortly after the break.
It's been a fantastic start for Bacup, who have recorded three clean sheets in as many matches.
Hot on their heels by goal difference alone are a transformed Nelson side who also boast a perfect record after a 2-0 win at ten-man AFC Blackpool. Billy Priestley opened the scoring on the hour, and it was Sefton Gonzalez who sealed the points 20 minutes later.
James Stanley was red carded in the closing stages for The Mechanics, who had won both games up until this point.
Atherton Laburnum Rovers crushed Garstang 5-1, with five different scorers contributing a goal. Kyle Robinson-Murray, Luke Nicholls and Joe Bacon were on target before the break, with Tom Romano and an injury time effort from Hass Gorji adding goals as LR notched up their most impressive result of the season to date.
Lucas Pinnington was on target for the visitors, who fall to back-to-back defeats. LR remain unbeaten.
Holker Old Boys recorded a 4-0 victory over ten-man Droylsden at Rakesmoor Lane to move up to seven points. Eoin Charles' red card on 38 minutes resulted in Brandon Collins' converted penalty which gave the Cumbrian side the half time lead.
Joe Amison doubled the lead on the hour, and Tom Dawson bagged a late brace to add gloss to the victory. It's a first loss for The Bloods since their lateral transfer into the North.
Euxton Villa broke their duck at the expense of Maghull after picking up a heavy 4-0 victory, with all the goals coming in the second half. Dan Singleton set the tone by scoring a minute after the break, and his goal was added to by Finnley Kent and a Pat Bibby brace.
Really hope the youngsters from @southporttrinityafc enjoyed being Skem mascots for yesterdays @nwcfl game against Ashton Athletic 🔵⚪️

It's Maghull's first defeat since rejoining the NWCFL after a 25-year absence.
Maine Road picked up a second win of the campaign by beating Darwen 2-0 at Brantingham Road. Mohammed Sarr opened the scoring after ten minutes, and The Salmoners' Jacob Holgate received a red card for bringing down the same player just before the break.
Dale Bury missed the chance to equalise for the visitors from the penalty spot in the penultimate minute, and Maine Road punished them by adding a second via Alex Panter in added time.

Ashton Athletic have their first W in the bag after beating slow-starters Skelmersdale United 1-0 thanks to Jack Smith's goal after just three minutes. Skem have lost all three games so far and are only avoiding bottom spot on goal difference following relegation from the Premier Division.
Finally, Steeton and Ashton Town shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw. Taylor Prescott looked to have won it for the visitors, but supersub Adam Hartley equalised for Steeton a minute from time.
