New Mills put in an early contender for result of the season as Chris Baguley's side thumped league newcomers Shawbury United 8-0 in the North West Counties First Division South.
The Millers were 5-0 up by the break against a side who could only name three substitutes even at this early stage of the season. Lee Knight opened the scoring, and added his second on the half hour - either side of James Perry's 19th minute goal.
Declan Hacking and Chris Pauley added their own goals to give the Derbyshire side a comprehensive lead at the break, with Harry Dean adding two more later on, and Hacking rounded out the scoring in injury time.

The Church Lane side have carried on their improved form from the end of last season and already look on track for a better campaign this time round. Shawbury have one point on the board to date in their first season in the NWCFL.
Elsewhere, Alsager Town are the only side with a 100% record remaining after beating Allscott Heath 3-0 at Wood Park, but they left it late to wrap up all three points. Ashley Leather's penalty opened the scoring - on 79 minutes - before Dominic Murphy added a second and Leather wrapped it up in added time for Luke Goddard's side.
It's three wins from three now for The Bullets, while Allscott fall to a first defeat since their lateral transfer into the division.
Cammell Laird remain unbeaten, but had to fight back from 2-0 down to rescue a point at Winsford United. Jack Woolley's brace - including his second penalty in as many games - had given the visitors the advantage, but Lairds benefitted from a late own goal and an even later equaliser from James Eaton.
Stafford Town and Sandbach United also have seven points - one gained against each other - and both won today. Town were too strong for Stockport Georgians, running out 3-0 winners thanks to Jamie Fox, Matthew Hearsey and Jayden Hunter.
Sandbach dispatched Eccleshall 1-0 at the Community Football Stadium thanks to Sam Lynch's second half goal. It's a first defeat for Eccleshall, who are yet to win.
UNDER PRESSURE: Barnton were able to overturn Cheadle Heath Nomads (Mark Torbitt)
Barnton picked up a 2-0 win at Cheadle Heath Nomads to end the Stockport side's perfect start, with Lee Turkington and Amir Hajri on target as their side netted a goal in each half. Danny Moss' side join Nomads on six points with two wins in three matches.
Foley Meir picked up a dramatic first victory since returning to the NWCFL at Ashville, with Finlay Pattison's final minute penalty settling the game 4-3 in his side's favour - and completing his hat-trick in the process.
Joel Kelly twice gave Ashville the lead, with the debuting Matty Henderson also on target. Keilahn Annikey also scored for Foley Meir on 84 minutes despite the team now being down to ten men following Ben Hewitt's dismissal - and Pattison secured three points for the visitors at the final stage.
Abbey Hulton United claimed their first points with a thumping 5-2 win at the still pointless Wolverhampton Sporting Community - with Kieran Brown netting a hat-trick. Lewis Holdham had put Hulton ahead in the first minute, before Brown opened his account shortly after.
Ben Shirley added a third after 11 minutes, although Wolves were able to pull one back before the break through Khalil Harrison, and added a second from the penalty spot shortly after the restart before Brown completed his hat-trick to seal victory for the visitors.
Market Drayton Town picked up an impressive 4-0 win over Runcorn Town, who remain without a point after falling to a third straight loss. The game was won within the first half hour, with Nicky Parker's brace and Harry Baggaley's 32nd minute effort giving The Gingerbreads a commanding half time lead.
Dennis Halliday added a fourth shortly after the break, and defeat here leaves Runcorn bottom of the table on goal difference at this early stage.
