Binghatti Properties and Mercedes-Benz have revealed an ambitious new venture in branded real estate with the introduction of Mercedes-Benz Places, Binghatti. The 65-storey residential tower, to be located in Downtown Dubai, combines Mercedes-Benz's renowned design language with Binghatti's real estate expertise, resulting in a project that merges luxury living with cutting-edge mobility solutions.
Mercedes-Benz Places, Binghatti is a sophisticated ecosystem designed to cater to its residents' varied needs, offering a range of customer-centric living solutions. The development will feature mixed-use facilities including restaurants, wellness zones, lounges, retail spaces, and parking, alongside advanced mobility solutions such as EV charging, smart mobility apps, and automated valet parking. This combination of features is designed to set new standards for luxury living while delivering a distinctive "Mercedes-Benz" experience.
The tower's architecture draws inspiration from Mercedes-Benz's Sensual Purity design philosophy, which has defined the aesthetics of the brand's recent vehicles like the VISION EQXX and Concept CLA Class. Standing at 341 meters, the hyper-tower features an elliptical exterior with flowing lines reminiscent of the ultra-modern Mercedes-Benz designs. The tower's design emphasizes clean, fluid lines, ensuring it becomes a landmark in Downtown Dubai with panoramic views of the Burj Khalifa.
Gorden Wagener, Chief Design Officer at Mercedes-Benz Group AG, explained the vision behind the project: "We have taken our unique design philosophy of Sensual Purity beyond automotive and shaped an iconic landmark. It looks very different, unique, and futuristic and it will be associated with the design, technology, and luxury appeal that are trademarks of every Mercedes-Benz."
The building will house 150 residences, including two- to four-bedroom units and five exclusive penthouses. Each residence has been crafted to enhance the luxury brand experience, focusing on high-quality finishes and a seamless integration of indoor and outdoor spaces. The tower's key architectural elements include a core structure with horizontal balcony arrangements, a dynamic lamella structure framing the building, and a southern façade designed to improve energy efficiency with integrated photovoltaics and shading features. Generous floor-to-ceiling windows and minimalist interiors emphasize the connection between architecture and nature.
"By launching Mercedes-Benz Places in Dubai, we are breaking new ground by seamlessly integrating the world of Mercedes-Benz into the living environments of our customers and prospects," said Britta Seeger, Member of the Board of Management of Mercedes-Benz Group AG, Marketing & Sales.
Muhammad BinGhatti, CEO of Binghatti Properties, emphasized the collaboration's significance: "We are profoundly excited to be working with Mercedes-Benz to develop the new Mercedes-Benz Places in Dubai. Our aim is to create an unmatched experience of living for residents and guests from all over the world."
The project also highlights the growing role of branded real estate in delivering brand experiences that go beyond traditional product offerings. Mercedes-Benz's entry into this sector is part of a broader strategy to explore new touchpoints for its customers, creating opportunities for brand engagement in innovative ways.
